Scotty Cameron didn’t set out to change the game of golf. He simply believed that to make the best putters in the world, you needed the best materials and the best design. As it turns out, that simple recipe was a game-changer.

Over the past several years, FOLKLORE has been developing digital experiences for Scotty Cameron. In my role, I directly partnered with the client and led the FOLKLORE teams through the Strategy, UX, Visual Design and Development phases. Most recently, I oversaw the launch of the SUPER SELECT and PHANTOM driver sites.

CHALLENGE

Scotty Cameron has a long and iconic history of making some of the best putters on planet earth. For their latest product-launches, they wanted to break the mold once again and asked FOLKLORE to do something new, with something familiar.

Strategy

Their new putter lines, SUPER SELECT and PHANTOM, was actually the rebirth of a legacy line for a brand new era. With an all-new alignment-infused design, we wanted to create an interaction where these one-of-a-kind options would jump off the screen and stick in the mind.

Solution

Highlight the design and craftmanship by creating an immersive 3D scrolling experience that highlights the elegance of each alignment option and puts the unique advantage on the center stage.

Outcome

The end result? Truly one-of-a-kind digital experiences that spotlight the brand’s new technology as well as the rebirth of a celebrated line used by top tour professionals.
