Mr. Eames couldn’t have said it better. Our goal as creatives, designers, photographers, illustrators, artist, etc. is to make things that are meaningful and hopefully so impactful it will make someone’s life better.

I consider myself an Experience-Driven Creative. I strive to build brand value that comes to life through digital, print and just about anything else a person engages with.

Here’s the stuff no one really reads. I’m a seasoned creative leader with over two decades of experience successfully building and leading high-performing teams that deliver exceptional brand experiences. My expertise spans brand strategy, content strategy, creative direction, UX/UI design, product design, social media marketing and design systems.

As a champion for brand equity and consistency, I drive strategic initiatives that elevate brand vision and design standards across all channels. My deep understanding of both creative development and business strategy enables me to lead projects from concept to execution, ensuring seamless integration across digital and traditional platforms.

My technical acumen, including experience with object-oriented design, user experience design and system architecture, informs my strategic decision-making and my ability to optimize brand experiences. I am a dedicated mentor and active member of the creative community, serving on the Board of Advisors at the University of San Diego, San Diego City College Design Program and AIGA San Diego.

I joined FOLKLORE as the Executive Director of Creative from 2020 - 2024. What makes FOLKLORE special are the people. They actually like each other, love what they do and how they work together to solve for our clients.

My role at FOLKLORE was to lead the creative team, which included UX, Visual Design, Creative Direction, Copywriting, Motion Design and Production. We pushed our partners forward and help them put the power of digital to work inside and outside of their organizations. More than just products, FOLKLORE experiences build brand value that comes to life through websites, apps and just about anything else on a screen.

I have always admired your unwavering commitment to design excellence, and how you challenge us to look at things from different perspectives. I appreciate your exploration into all things AI and for helping us stay on the edge of current tools and trends. I look forward to all the fun, interesting and fresh design perspectives to come.

I’ve been doing this branding, design, advertising AND digital thing for a while. Hell, I go back to the beginning of websites. Remember when Flash made your sites spin, whizz, blip and zoom, MulletsGalore.com was the best website ever and Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield's ear almost clean off?

So now I’m chillin with my partner, being a dog parent to Paloma, sippin mezcal and gettin dusty in the desert.
